The Campla wood sculptures are made in an artisanal process in his studio, using pine, Oregon pine and eucalyptus. The artist, shapes and paint each piece. All are absolutely original and they are not two identical shapes. In this expression the artist combines his passion for painting with the art in volume.

The tools used to shape the sculptures include wood lathes, chisels, gouges, drill, sand, inks, oils, varnishes and paints. In each piece a magical world where abstract art elements converge and create ethnic reminiscences.

This first series of sculptures take the names of the small towns on the island of Chiloe in southern Chile, from where come the woods utilized.
